Kraken a Review

I have always been fascinated by undersea life - it's mysterious, beautiful, dangerous and sometimes creepy.  So when I was given the opportunity to review, Kraken:  The Curious, Exciting, and Slightly Disturbing Science of Squid by Wendy Williams I was all for it.

This book is a fascinating look at all things squid and how they relate to us as humans - they aren't only a source of food and sport, but scientists are discovering ways the squid will be beneficial to human disease -squid are being used to find cures for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, to develop new antibiotics and boost the health of babies born by C-Section.

Kraken by Wendy Williams is well worth reading and will open your eyes and mind to new and wonderful possibilities from our undersea neighbor the squid.
