Here in Oregon a Mom should pack:
1. Beach Towels
2. Snacks for the kids to eat on the way
3. Warm clothes like a sweatshirt
4. Sunscreen with and without bug repellant
5. A soft hand held broom to dust off all the sand including between the toes.

Besides beach towels and swimsuits, we have these five beach must-haves packed in our bag:

1. Extra ponytail holders and hair clips for longer hair.

2. Pain reliever for those times when the fun gets to be a little too much.

3. Band-aids for any summertime scrapes.

4. A book or MP3 player--Moms have to relax, too!

5. Our top beach must-have is a camera for capturing all of our summertime memories!

Here in Texas:
1. Johnson and Johnson SPF 50+.
2. Plenty of water bottles filled with water AND ice.
3. Canon Supershot camera for pics.
4. Floppy beach hats and SPF swimshirts (pale is the new in!)
5. GoGo Fruit Squeeze Snacks - perfect for healthy snacks AND no way to get sand in your food!
