Learn with Yoga ABC Yoga Cards for Kids by Christine Ristuccia, M.S. CCC-SLP (speech-Language Pathologist) is an excellent way to teach children the art of Yoga, plus learn some things along the way.
Each letter of the alphabet is represented with two corresponding cards - Card 1 gives the picture of the yoga exercise, the benefits of the stretch and verbal cues that will help you help your child. Card 2 - gives reading readiness instructions as well as questions to ask your child about the word the pose represents.
Using these cards on a consistent basis will;
- Build confidence
- Increase physical flexibility (required for all sports)
- Raises awareness of the importance of good health
- Promotes effective techniques (such as breathing) for managing stress
- Ages 2 and up
Yoga has been proven over the years to be of great benefit to the mind, body and spirit, so why not start your kids off early?
The cards are bright and bold and are made in a heavy duty cardboard and comes packed in a convenient box. The illustrations by Charles Beryl are cute, yet accurate enough to guide your youngster through the moves.

I prefer The Fitness Ball Deck, because they are best the cards designing, very bright and lively. Also, Each of the yoga cards offers child-friendly poses with ties to specific educational and accent activities.
