Jordan Sandor is back with another fast-paced, action packed thriller, this time it's to fight an impending terrorist attack on the "Heart of America" the oil rigs and refineries.
Ahmad Jaber has offered vital information concerning these attacks in exchange for sanctuary in the USA. However, the details are sketchy and vague at best, so Sandor sets out on the adventure of his career to stop the terrorists and save the country.
Targets of Opportunity by Jeffrey S. Stephens is a great read for any guy on your Christmas list. It's plot will keep him turning the pages. In addition, Stephens has taken the reader on a world-wide adventure. With all the threats of terrorism that seem to loom, this book is one that could be plausible - I see big screen thriller written all over it!

INSIDE by Brenda Novak
Forbidden love. Murder. Mystery.
Brenda Novak does it again with her spine tingling tale INSIDE.
Vigil Skinner has been in prison for fourteen years for a crime he didn’t commit, so when he’s finally exonerated the last thing he wants to do is go back in. But when the California Department of Corrections offers him a deal to go undercover to infiltrate one of the biggest gangs in the state, Virgil is left no choice.
However, Chief Deputy Warden Peyton Adams strongly protests this dangerous operation, especially since her attraction to Virgil has escalated, (she may be in love with him) and even with Virgil’s gang training, there’s still a very real possibility they could kill him. Virgil see’s no other alternative as his old gang finds out of his “defecting to the other side” and moves closer to finding his sister and kids - is there a snitch within the prison itself?
Come experience on of the best reads of this year! INSIDE is a fast-paced tale of romance, mystery and action. I couldn’t put it down and was intrigued to the last page.

Feel the Heat - Body Heat

Sophia St. Claire has been appointed Chief of Police in her small hometown of Bordertown, Arizona. But not everyone wants her in this lofty position. Sophia is determined to prove herself worthy after twelve illegal aliens are shot at point-blank range by a mysterious killer.
As Sophia diligently scours the crime seen, a Department 6 hired gun, Roderick Guerrero shows up to lend a hand. Things begin to heat up as Sophia recognizes this handsome man as the high school guy she once stood up. Rod immediately feels the same attraction to Sophia as he did in school, but with his estranged father, Bruce, two half-brothers and a bitter, angry and hateful step-mother nipping at his heels, Rod has his hands full and refuses to give into the pressure.
The heat continues as two locals are murdered and rumors begin to swirl from Sophia's shaded past. Can Sophia put aside her feelings for Rod and her stepfather? Will the killer be closer than she thinks? Find out in Brenda Novak's Body Heat.
If you love a good, steamy mystery, Body Heat is a must read. Novak once again plots an engaging tale with romance, suspense and action cleverly weaved in.
