Heaven, Iron and I; The Ron Martinelli Story

You may know Ron Zuccaro as "Ron Martinelli" the Pro wrestling star.  But before he embarked on a career in the ring with some of the biggest names in early wrestling, he played High School football and baseball.  At the young age of 17, Ron enlisted in the Marines, then into the U.S. Army.  Ron was soon accepted into the Officer Candidate School, but seeking action rather than accolades he volunteered to go to Vietnam.

Ron endured the worst kind of living conditions and saw the most gruesome acts of mankind.  However, it was a trip to the cleaners back home where his life took the most tragic and life changing turn when an out-of-control truck rammed him into a brick wall leaving him with the prognosis of never walking again.

How did Ron cope with all these situations in his life?  His faith and love in the Almighty God.  He saw him through the worst and the best times of his life.

Heaven, Iron and I; The Ron Martinelli Story is truly one of the most inspiring and uplifting books I've read.  Ron holds nothing back in telling his life story.  It will leave you shaking your head at some of the things Ron as been through, yet you can see where God's hand was leading and directing his life.  Ron's unwavering faith is something we should all strive to get and hold onto.  And even through Ron admits he isn't perfect, he knows that God is loving and forgiving in all situations.
